From the minute we got Frankie, back in 2019, I knew I wanted to breed her. Previously a cat person, this beautiful dog converted me into a dog lover. I joke that she's a "cat dog", but much friendlier than your usual cat! We got her to help our little boy overcome his fear of dogs, and she has done the most wonderful job. She smothers us with affection and love and has never been anything but pure delight. She prefers the indoors to out, a human bed over a dog bed, and my lap above all!
We are located in Geelong on the Surf Coast of Victoria. Frankie's parents were purebred Cocker Spaniel (Mum) and King Charles Cavalier (Dad) and she was born in Northern NSW.
When I was on the hunt for our dream girl, I was wanting a Cocker Spaniel x King Charles Cavalier x Toy Poodle but wasn't able to source one. I loved all the traits and natures of each and thought what a perfect combination of dog that could be. So it was from there, and the stunning creature that became Frankie along with a mountain of research that the idea was born to create CockerCavoodles. Frankie's temperament has only cemented this desire as I knew she would make the most beautiful Mum.
The breeding journey has not been taken lightly, being well aware of the distressing time we live in with puppies being bred for monetary gain and ethics being ignored. Please be assured that Frankie is first and foremost our pet that we absolutely worship. Vets have been consulted throughout her life and pregnancy. She has been DNA tested and will never be affected or pass on any nasty disease and she will only ever breed with a 100% clear sire.
In 2021 we welcomed our special little girl, Estella (Stellie) into our family. She was the last born of Frankie's litter 1.0 and we were drawn to her from the beginning. She's a cheeky girl, with the most sensational coat, playful nature and is extremely loving, just like her mum. She has completed our pup family, but we look forward to bringing so much joy into more loving families with future litters.
We are members of Responsible Pet Breeding Association (4156) as well as Puppy Scam Awareness Australia (PSAA00073). You can rest assured that we are real, our puppies exist, we are extremely approachable, open and upfront about our entire breeding program and our puppies.
We expose our puppies to different environments, people, and other animals to help them become well-adjusted adults. Our structured socialisation program helps inculcate confidence and good behaviour in our puppies, ensuring they grow to be sociable, friendly, and adaptable dogs.
Our fishes have a stimulating environment with plants, rocks, or driftwood to encourage natural behaviours. We offer them a varied diet that mimics the natural diet of the species to improve their health and vitality.
Our breeding program is rooted in ethical practices that prioritise the welfare of our dogs. We maintain a clean, safe, and loving environment for our dogs to live, play, and grow, and our animals have warm bedding, fresh water, ample space to exercise, and natural lighting.
