Welcome to Lasaming, where we proudly continue our family’s tradition of breeding pedigree Lhasa Apso. Having taken over our cherished breeding prefix from my grandfather, we’re excited to announce our second litter, expected late May 2026.
We are currently taking expressions of interest for our upcoming litter. Puppies will be considered for both loving family homes and select show homes.
What sort of enrichment activities do your animals and litters have?
Our puppies are raised in our family home and are gradually introduced to age-appropriate enrichment as they grow. They have a clean, safe sleeping area, play space, toys, different textures, gentle household sounds, and supervised time to explore. As they develop, they are introduced to things like soft toys, puppy-safe chew items, tunnels/low obstacles, different floor surfaces, grooming handling, and short periods away from the litter to help build confidence. We focus on calm, positive experiences rather than overwhelming the puppies, so enrichment is introduced gradually and matched to their stage of development.
How do you socialise your animals?
Our puppies are raised around normal family life, so they become used to household routines, everyday noises, people, handling and gentle interaction. They are regularly handled, cuddled, groomed and checked over so they are comfortable with being touched, picked up, brushed and examined. As they grow, we introduce them to new experiences slowly and positively, including visitors, different rooms, play areas, sounds, and age-appropriate independence from their littermates. Our aim is to raise puppies who are confident, affectionate and well prepared for life as family companions.
What health checks have you undertaken on your breeding animals and your litters?
Our puppies are vet checked before going to their new homes. They are microchipped, vaccinated and wormed regularly according to age and veterinary advice. We monitor their growth, feeding, toileting, coat condition and general development closely while they are with us. Our adult dogs receive routine veterinary care and are only bred from when we believe they are healthy, suitable and of good temperament. We are happy to discuss the health, temperament and background of our dogs with genuine enquiries.
What comes with your take home packs for your litters?
Each puppy leaves with a take-home pack to help them settle into their new home. This includes their vaccination and microchip paperwork, worming information, feeding information, a small amount of the food they are used to, and guidance around settling, grooming and ongoing care. We also provide information about their routine, what they have been eating, and tips for the first few nights. We are happy to stay in contact with puppy families and offer support as they settle in.
Tell us about why you breed and what your breeding goals are
We breed Lhasa Apsos because we love the breed and want to raise healthy, well-adjusted puppies with beautiful temperaments. Our goal is to produce puppies who are suited to loving family homes and who represent the loyal, affectionate and confident nature of the Lhasa Apso. Our puppies are raised with care, time and attention in our family home. We focus on temperament, health, early socialisation, grooming tolerance and matching each puppy to the right home. This is Lena’s final litter, so we are especially focused on finding thoughtful, committed families who understand the needs of the breed and will give these puppies wonderful lifelong homes.
What other information would you like your buyers to know
We are careful about where our puppies go and are looking for homes who understand that Lhasa Apsos need regular grooming, gentle handling, companionship and consistent care. They are affectionate, loyal little dogs, but they do best with families who are prepared for coat maintenance and lifelong commitment. Puppies will be ready to leave from 10 weeks of age. Genuine enquiries are welcome, and we are happy to answer questions to help make sure each puppy is matched with the right home.
