WE DO PUPPY ALLOCATIONS
I know it can, quite understandably, be a bit un-nerving for people to trust in a stranger, to allocate the right puppy for their family. Puppies are allocated at 6-8 weeks, which I know is a long wait for families we understand this, but the allocation of puppies to their new families is a careful and very important process.
We take into consideration when it comes time to choose which puppy is most suitable for which home and what home is most suitable for the puppies personality.
Some of the things we need to consider with allocations include; temperament, and personality, activity level and buyers preferences.
I get to know every puppy from birth with daily handling and observation of litter dynamics and puppy personalities. Temperament and personality are two very different things.
This really is a very different process from buying a puppy from someone's backyard where they are happy for you to pick the puppy of your choice.
In this situation most of us would choose the one that we best like the look of, or perhaps the first puppy to pay us attention or wag their little tail. The breeder of the puppies doesn't consider if the puppy is a good fit for you, your family, activity levels, lifestyle or purpose.
The allocation process is about getting this fit right. I carefully consider all information, because I care about the long-term security and happiness of my majestic Neapolitan Mastiffs.
We expose our puppies to different environments, people, and other animals to help them become well-adjusted adults. Our structured socialisation program helps inculcate confidence and good behaviour in our puppies, ensuring they grow to be sociable, friendly, and adaptable dogs.
Our fishes have a stimulating environment with plants, rocks, or driftwood to encourage natural behaviours. We offer them a varied diet that mimics the natural diet of the species to improve their health and vitality.
Our breeding program is rooted in ethical practices that prioritise the welfare of our dogs. We maintain a clean, safe, and loving environment for our dogs to live, play, and grow, and our animals have warm bedding, fresh water, ample space to exercise, and natural lighting.
If at any point you are unable to continue caring for your dog, we provide a lifetime rehoming guarantee. We will take the necessary steps to ensure that your dog is placed in a loving and responsible new home that aligns with our ethical breeding principles.
