Rachel Maree Allen/Ford claims to be a breeder from the Parkes area of NSW. We came across her ad for Maltese X pups on a buy swap sell site on 20th June 2021. We paid a deposit for two puppies. Everything seemed legit until the date of pick up approached. She became very evasive with the location of the pups, why we couldn't pick them up at certain times we suggested, and offered no alternative. Due to covid she said people from sydney had pulled out and didn't have money for the vet costs, which I stupidly felt sorry for her and transferred more money.
The excuses she used included covid, her mother dying, her daughter being in lockdown, that she was paranoid about people going to her house because she had been robbed before. We pleaded with her to be honest with us as we had fallen in love with the pups we were hoping to bring home. She said her friends Andrea and Tony would meet us at a particular time and location. We travelled the 1.5 hours only to be told our money had been refunded and the pups sold to someone else. We have had no refund. Police are involved. Do not buy from this woman. If it not worth the stress and anxiety. Even if you are one of the "lucky" ones to get one of her pups

Just want to let you people know in case you come across the same lady. I paid a deposit to a lady in December for two pups. The pups were meant to be collected on Dec 20th. However, two days back before the collection date she messaged me that her son met with an accident and she won't be able to give the pups. She said she will give the refund once the vet returns the money to her. Her phone is switched off now and haven't heard back from her for almost a month.
