Sunset Veterinary Care is a dedicated palliative care and euthanasia service helping families to access specialised end-stage care at home.
This often means supporting families as they navigate a terminal diagnosis or ensuring pets are comfortable and not experiencing unnecessary pain in the final months of life. In many cases, our most important role is to help families to say a gentle goodbye at home, supported by a care team who truly understand how hard that day can be.
Our Patient Care team are available by phone 7 days a week, with home visits arranged by appointment.
Sunset Vets can also assist with arrangements for cremation and memorial services, and offer a dedicated Pet Loss specific Grief Counselling service to Pet owners Australia Wide.
Established on the Sunshine Coast QLD in 2014 by Dr Jackie Campbell, Australia's first certified Palliative Care Veterinarian, our team of compassionate Vets has since expanded to Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, to meet the growing demand for our much needed and unique model of care.
