Stockhorse - Rutherford

Found a home.

Hello there! My name is Matilda, and I’m a sweet, bay Stockhorse looking for a home where I can show off just how wonderful I am. I’m between 7 and 10 years old, and if you’re into horses with a gentle soul and a loving heart, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m known for being a sweet girl, and I absolutely adore a good scratch—on my neck, behind my ears, anywhere really! If you’re the type who loves to give a good scratch, I promise I’ll return the affection with plenty of warm nuzzles.

Now, the team here at the RSPCA are unsure what training I've had in my previous life, but I’ve had some handling and am eager to learn more. I’ll be honest, though, I do need a little extra work when it comes to handling my feet. But don’t worry! I’m a quick learner, and I just need someone who can be patient and understanding. With the right guidance, I’m sure we’ll be able to work through that together.

As for my health, I’m up to date with all the important stuff—dental care, vaccinations, worming, and farrier work. I’ve been well taken care of, and I’m ready to be a part of your world.

If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet horse who’s ready to bond and who just needs a bit of extra training, I might be the perfect fit for you. Together, we can create a special connection and work on building my skills!

I’m looking forward to meeting you soon.

With a heart full of sweetness,

Matilda,
