We’re looking to rehome our two miniature dachshunds. This decision has not been made lightly and selling due to changes in family circumstances. Due to an initial delay and then the original expected owner relocating overseas, Reggie is available again for only the best home. He is a black and tan smooth haired mini dachshund carrying chocolate, longhair and pied, PRA clear. He is mocrochipped. At just eighteen months old he is very affectionate and has lovely strong personality. He may take a little time to be confident with new people simply because he is no longer a puppy, but this should not be an issue. Reggie is used to being outside during the day and in at night. Reggie has had the unitial three vaccinations,l and is wormed as per protocol and is flea free. He has not been desexed. It is important to understand that dachshunds are very people dependant and do not happily cope with long hours alone.Another dog for company is a plus for the times you are out. If you are a family that is away from home most days then this is not the breed for you. Reggie has not had unteraction with children but I would expect him to enjoy their company greatly provided the children are supervised well and are gentle and thoughtful around the dog, allowing him time to bond with them. He will also require time to adjust to a new environment and other dogs. He has not had much interaction with cats.

We have 4 gorgeous miniature Dachshund puppies for sale, 1 Black and Tan Female and 3 Chocolate and Tan Males born on the 18th July 2025. They sleep in a kennel in our enclosed back verandah with access to grassed areas whenever they please. They usually rise with the sun and play together untill they have their breakfast of wet kibble or chicken necks play some more then have a sleep. They like to play with toys, often tugging an end each on the same toy. they love playing in the garden under bushes. Mum gives them attention when needed but has almost weaned them so is keeping her distance. We have three cats that are not the focus of their attention, giving them the space cats so desire. We have a staffy cross female, 12 years old that likes her space, she is gently teaching them how to give her space, which they seem to obey. Mum and dad are very quiet friendly dogs and do not bark at other dogs or people when they go on walks. All puppies love attention from whoever comes to visit and run up to greet you when you get home. All puppies have been microchipped and 2 vaccinations and wormed.
