Puppy Pay is processed securely via Stripe, making the transaction fast and encrypted every step of the way.
For every transaction, we charge an administration fee which includes exclusive access to Dogooddoggy online puppy training to help each buyer start life with their new puppy on the right paw.
Puppy Pay provides a streamlined, integrated payment experience for both sides of the transaction.
For buyers, it means secure, traceable payments facilitated by Australia’s leading pet marketplace. Plus, every Puppy Pay customer receives free access to Dogooddoggy online puppy training.
For breeders, it means dealing with serious buyers and having instant payment confirmation, reducing the need for manual follow-ups or juggling external apps and screenshots.
Payments made through Puppy Pay are processed using Stripe’s secure payment infrastructure.* Stripe provides industry-standard encryption and fraud detection technology used by many major online platforms and businesses.

Puppy Pay is a payment facilitation service offered by PetsForHomes that allows you to complete your puppy purchase directly through our platform. It provides a secure, trackable way to process payments via Stripe and unlocks exclusive perks for new pet owners.

Yes. If you have received a Puppy Pay link but wish to switch your payment method, please ask the breeder to resend the offer with your preferred method selected.
If you pay outside of the platform, you will not have a traceable record of the transaction within PetsForHomes and will not be eligible for the Puppy Pay perks, such as the free DGD puppy training.
If an issue arises, we recommend contacting the breeder directly as your first step. PetsForHomes may assist in facilitating communication between buyers and sellers; however, we do not provide dispute resolution services or purchase guarantees. Buyers are responsible for independently verifying breeder credentials prior to purchase.
If your circumstances change, our team can provide guidance on rehoming support options or help facilitate a conversation with your breeder regarding their return policies.
Yes. Each puppy must be paid for via an individual Puppy Pay offer. The $75 transaction administration fee applies to each separate puppy payment.
Currently, Puppy Pay is available for transactions within Australia.
Yes, Puppy Pay offers are valid for a set period of time—typically 72 hours. If the link expires, ask your breeder to resend it.
