Great Dane – Yagoona

Hi, I’m Lovebug, a sweet and affectionate gal who’s looking for a family that understands the joys of living with a large breed like me! I’m a young dog so I have a lot of energy and excitement to share, which means I need plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep me happy and healthy. You’ll need to be patient and provide me with decompression time to help me manage my enthusiasm, especially if I get too excited. While I love people, I’m better suited to a household without young children under 12. Sometimes I get a little too excited during interactions, and when I do, I need a family who will understand when to give me space to calm down. It’s also important that any kids I meet are comfortable with me and know how to give me room when I need it. When it comes to other dogs, I can become frustrated if I’m not properly matched, so I’ll need to meet any dogs in the home first. It’s important to make sure the match is a good one for everyone’s sake! As a larger breed, I’ll need lots of daily enrichment—think long, sniffy walks and a treasure hunt in the backyard to find hidden treats. Mental challenges are important to keep me busy so puzzle toys and training sessions are a must. I’m incredibly sweet and love spending time with my humans. I’ll be your loyal companion once I know I can trust you, and I’ll reward your patience with all the love and affection I have to offer. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a cuddle buddy and can help me thrive I just might be the perfect fit for you! I am currently in a foster home, this means I can not be met without an appointment. Please complete an expression of interest form if you would like to organise to meet me Lots of love, Lovebug xo Indoor/outdoor access Ongoing training Free vet consult at adoption Name: Lovebug Type: Dog Breed: Great Dane Sex: Female Size: Extra Large Colour: Brindle Age: 2 Years 1 Month RON: R251000223 Phone: (02) 9770 7555 Address: 201 Rookwood Rd, Yagoona, NSW 2199

Catahoula Leopard Dog – Yagoona

Hi there! My name’s Turbo, and I’m a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog with a heart full of love and a whole lot of playful energy. I’m on the lookout for a forever family that can keep up with my zest for life and share in all the fun, snuggles, and adventures that come with having a loyal best friend like me! I’m happiest when I’m with my people, so I’d love a home where someone is around most of the time. Whether you’re working from home, retired, or just love the idea of a furry shadow following you around, I’ll be right by your side. I’m very affectionate, and I’ll never pass up a good cuddle session. I’ve got a curious mind and I’m a fast learner, so I’d love daily mental stimulation—whether that’s puzzle toys, fun games, or training sessions. I already know a few commands, but I’d be thrilled to keep learning with you. Teaching me new tricks is a great way to bond (and I’m pretty proud when I get it right!). While I’d prefer to be the only dog in the house, I’ve coexisted peacefully with other pets in the past. I haven’t had any issues with kids, either—in fact, I love when they want to play with me! I'm gentle, goofy, and always up for a game of fetch or a backyard adventure. Speaking of adventures… I’ll need a secure outdoor space to run, sniff, and explore safely. I have a lot of energy to burn, so a fenced-in yard or regular active outings would make me one very happy pup. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and lively companion who will bring joy, fun, and loyalty into your home—then look no further. I can’t wait to meet you and show you just how special life with Turbo can be. Let’s make some memories together! Lots of love, Turbo xo -Must meet all dog savvy children -Someone home more often than not -Secure 6ft Colourbond fencing -Must be only pet (no cats, dogs or pocket pets) Name: Turbo Type: Dog Breed: Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mastiff Sex: Male Size: Medium Colour: Tan / White Age: 3 Years 4 Months RON: R251000223 Phone: (02) 9770 7555 Address: 201 Rookwood Rd, Yagoona, NSW 2199

Stockhorse – Rutherford

Hello there! My name is Matilda, and I’m a sweet, bay Stockhorse looking for a home where I can show off just how wonderful I am. I’m between 7 and 10 years old, and if you’re into horses with a gentle soul and a loving heart, you’ve come to the right place. I’m known for being a sweet girl, and I absolutely adore a good scratch—on my neck, behind my ears, anywhere really! If you’re the type who loves to give a good scratch, I promise I’ll return the affection with plenty of warm nuzzles. Now, the team here at the RSPCA are unsure what training I've had in my previous life, but I’ve had some handling and am eager to learn more. I’ll be honest, though, I do need a little extra work when it comes to handling my feet. But don’t worry! I’m a quick learner, and I just need someone who can be patient and understanding. With the right guidance, I’m sure we’ll be able to work through that together. As for my health, I’m up to date with all the important stuff—dental care, vaccinations, worming, and farrier work. I’ve been well taken care of, and I’m ready to be a part of your world. If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet horse who’s ready to bond and who just needs a bit of extra training, I might be the perfect fit for you. Together, we can create a special connection and work on building my skills! I’m looking forward to meeting you soon. Cat – Unanderra

Meet Pigeon, a sensitive and thoughtful soul who’s looking for a special kind of home — one where patience, understanding, and a gentle approach make all the difference. This nervous boy takes his time warming up to new surroundings and people, but with space to settle in and someone who respects his boundaries, he has the potential to truly thrive. Pigeon communicates in quiet, subtle ways — a flick of the tail, a shift in posture, a cautious glance — and he’s hoping to find someone who can read those signals and give him the time he needs to feel safe. He’s not aggressive, just unsure, and needs a calm, predictable environment where he can decompress and build trust at his own pace. He would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone experienced in cat behavior — someone who knows that trust with a cat like Pigeon is earned slowly, and that progress is measured in small, meaningful steps. If you understand that not every cat is a lap cat from day one — and you're willing to give this stunning boy the patience and respect he deserves — Pigeon could be the deeply rewarding companion you’ve been waiting for. Lunar

Lunar is the most gentle, kind lovely puppy. She fit into our family so well and we have had her since 10 weeks old. We have a rag doll cat, Great Dane and 4 children. She loves everyone of us/them and they love her. Not a moment goes by where she isn’t next to you, behind you or on you. She can’t get enough love and would make a great companion for someone who has the time for her. She is a typical staffy/puppy and digs when she is left too long and bored otherwise if you are home with her she is fine. She is toilet trained and can follow simple commands given. She is great off lead and has a great recall at the beach, parks etc however she is very timid around other dogs and prefers human interaction. She plays with her Great Dane brother fine however she knows no different growing up with him. She can also get jumpy when excited but when corrected will calm down. I have never given up a pet before however she just needs more love than we have time to give. She has always slept in a crate overnight however would also love to snuggle on the bed if there’s room. It deeply saddens me to let her go

Dingo Hybrid – Euroa

Euroa is a stunning, loving, gentle dingo who would be happy to spend his days on adventures with his family and his nights cuddled up next to his favourite humans, being smothered with pats and belly rubs. He is an incredibly friendly, loyal boy who is exceptionally trained and has lots of experience interacting with people and dogs within our Sanctuary and at external events where he is a crowd favourite and knows how to work it for treats and pats. He is very confident but well behaved and takes his cues from his humans. He knows sit, paw, law down and he walks very well on lead in both rural and suburban settings. Whilst he is content lazing around in the sun, he is highly intelligent and energetic and hence would love to be involved in all family adventures and requires daily exercise and enrichment to keep him mentally stimulated and happy. He would live well with a fellow canine or be happy to be the centre of attention for his family.

Samantha Walsh

Dingo – Wanbi

Although quiet in nature Wanbi has a cheeky side that is such joy to watch. When he feels safe Wanbi opens up to be a true goofball at heart. He loves to dig and play with his best friend Fern. Wanbi would thrive in a home that gives him gentle encouragement and support while he builds up his confidence around humans. He is a gentle soul that enjoys naps in the sun when he isn't playing. Due to their unbreakable bond we are looking to rehome Wanbi with his best friend Fern. If you can give this special wild heart the loving home that he deserves please let us know.

Samantha Walsh

Dingo – Adina

Adina is a beautiful but shy wild born orphan, who is looking for a home of her own. Adina is needing a quiet environment to call home. Although shy, Adina has an inquisitive nature and does hand feed once she is sure she can trust you. She will need another dog to call her friend, as she adores the company of canines whether she’s wrestling with them, kissing them or snuggling together with her pack member. Adina will do best in a setting that can support her wild heart. She is not suited for the suburban setting as she would find the noise and busy environment too overwhelming. Adina would benefit from having an area that gives her the option to interact with her new family while having the option to retreat as she gains confidence in her new environment. She does like to be on the outskirts of the action but will say hello to those that she trusts. She is the true definition of a wild-heart so why not open your heart and home to Adina.

Samantha Walsh

Dingo – Fern

Fern came into care as a tiny wild born orphaned pup. Lost, starving and scared without her family. She took refuge in the safety and security of our healing sanctuary, quickly forming a bond with another dingo by the name of Wanbi. Although apprehensive around humans Fern is extremely inquisitive and likes to suss out anything new from a distance. She is often found quietly following her foster carer, getting sneaky sniffs while she thinks no one is watching. Fern would benefit from a home that allows her to be true to her wild heart. A safe space that supports her timid and curious nature where she can slowly build up her confidence and trust. We are aiming to home Fern with her best friend Wanbi as they have been inseparable for the duration of their time in care with us. If you have space in your heart and home to support Fern's lovable and curious nature please let us know.

New Beginnings for Pets

For many animals, adoption becomes their salvation. These creatures, often rescued from shelters, streets, or dire circumstances, yearn for care and stability. When a pet finds a home, it seizes the opportunity to flourish in a loving environment, far from the struggles it once endured.

The transformation that follows is extraordinary. Animals reveal newfound vitality, their demeanours shift, and their health improves. Shy, withdrawn pets shed their fear, blossoming with confidence and affection. A stable home sparks this growth, proving that all they needed was a chance.

Strengthening the Community

Adopting a pet ripples beyond individual lives, lifting the community. By adopting, you ease the burden on local shelters, allowing them to direct resources toward other animals in need. This chain reaction ensures more pets receive medical care, sustenance, and the promise of a home.

Choosing adoption sparks a culture of responsibility and compassion. As adoption spreads, homelessness among animals shrinks, fostering a community that values animal welfare. Adopters evolve into advocates, teaching others the significance of adopting over purchasing pets.

By adopting, you rescue a life and enrich your own with an enduring bond. If you’re seeking a new companion, adoption stands as a noble path, offering a choice as fulfilling as bringing home a pet from a responsible breeder.
