Bred specifically for temperaments conducive to being great safe loyal family dogs yet great guard dogs if required. You will find it hard to believe that their seemingly soft loyal nature can turn and deter would be thieves in an instant. Away from their property and in public parks the parents are friendly enough towards other dogs and humans but if you stop and talk with a stranger they will carefully assess them. We have currently 2 Blue Heeler boys and 1 Blue Heeler girl as well as a Red Heeler male.
