We have 3 darling puppies available from our litter of 8 (2 girls, 1 boy). Mum is a pedigree golden retriever, Dad is a purebred standard poodle. These parent dogs have been closely matched in their large size and excellent empathetic temperaments to bring you a friendly, highly trainable, cuddly companion.
About our puppy program:We are preparing our puppies for great behaviour, emotional resilience and potential life as a therapy pet. We use shaping techniques to train our young puppies. Our program follows Puppy Culture protocols and includes:* Socialisation with humans throughout the critical socialisation period* Startle and recover - helps prevent fear responses to sudden noise and movement* Problem solving and enrichment - gives pups the tools to tackle new challenges with confidence* Sensory exposure - gets pups used to the textures, sights, scents and sounds of our human environment* Handling - prepares pups for human touch, grooming and hygiene practices* Manding - encouraging pups to sit for attention instead of jumping up* Head start on off-leash walking training* Head start on toilet training* Clicker ‘power up’ - pairing the clicker sound with a treat conditions the puppy to experience a reward sensation for those moments when you don’t have treats handy* Crate training - important for the variety of reasons puppies/dogs may need to go into an enclosed space* Loving attention, kisses and cuddles We have also bred and raised our puppies with the best prospects for lifelong health, including:* Parent dogs in excellent health and with excellent nutrition* DNA clear - Parent dogs cleared of breed related genetic conditions (no carrier genes either)* Hip checks on parent dogs* Health checks on our puppies at birth, 3 days old, and 6 weeks old* Monitoring of puppies growth and milestones* Healthy and clean living environment with excellent nutrition* Vaccinations and worming to schedule* Veterinary certificates of health on all our puppies* Early Neurological Stimulation protocol (scientifically proven to improve heart and adrenal gland function, tolerance to stress and resistance to disease)
