Korokat Cattery was established almost 30 years ago in Sydney Australia and immediately gained magnificent show results, with a stunning silver male, Oxsarna Mystical Dream and and his beautiful golden sister, Oxsarna Cinnamon Rose, who were both sired by Vivvviene Hall's incredible Chinchilla Golden import, Fairisles Goldmark . Goldmark carried only the vest catteries in the world at the time, early-mid 1990's
About 15 years ago, I decided I wanted to make my silver Persians conform to the Persian standard completely, with the high nose and the heavy combact body that is desired in a Persian. I used the black solid Cross to a silver carrying a recessive for golden. I also used my black solid Cross with my Ultra extreme, huge 6 kilo, Canadian import, Sam I am. The quality of silver persians, I am now producing compete with the other colour divisions of Persians competitively on every level, which is something they never did until I endeavoured to pursue a high nosed silver program and I also created my own golden Persian line and I'm the only breeder in Australia producing Golden's that could compete with the best in the world today. 30k importing, working my lines with breeding partner Dianne Hayes lines ,including her beautiful Imports as well has left us with a nassive legacy were leaving behind in the history of Australian Silver and Golden Persians.
There is only myself and Diane Hayes, at present, who are producing cats that are on par with the best bring bred in the world and I solely can claim the title of being Australia's leading golden Persian breeder, with my beautiful rich apricot golden coats, they are the only goldens of world-class quality being bred and shown in Australia.
