What sort of enrichment activities do your animals and litters have?
Dog toys, walks, going to the beach and on hikes in the forest next to our property, dog puzzles
How do you socialise your animals?
I follow a socialisation program from the moment pups are born, to gradually have them familiar with different touch, sound, smells, interactions, animals and textures.
What health checks have you undertaken on your breeding animals and your litters?
The parents are all DNA cleared, up to date with vaccinations and yearly checked. Pups get tick, flea and worm treatment every two weeks from birth with Drontal and Frontline, have their first vet check and vaccination at 6wks and thereafter whenever due, until they go to their new home.
What comes with your take home packs for your litters?
Information package on how to care for groodle, with basics of puppy training, info on diet, grooming and behaviour. A toy, blanket that smells of mom, and other goodies (this can vary, usually at least two of the following, such as a collapsible bowl, puppy shampoo, a brush and a harness)
Tell us about why you breed and what your breeding goals are
I used to be scared of dogs, because of bad experiences as a child. Arriving in Australia 6 years ago, we started housesitting with a dog breeder, and I fell in love with the breed. The dog breeder wanted to take a step back after 40+ years of breeding, and after two years of housesitting and learning from that breeder, we are now working closely together. I love breeding, because as a therapist for my regular work, I see how valuable this breed is as a companion. What I love about breeding is that you can create a wonderful, confident and social companion for life, that brings happiness to other families.
What other information would you like your buyers to know
My dogs and pups grow up with children, other animals, on a beautiful 30acre property with plenty of space to play.
