What sort of enrichment activities do your animals and litters have? We use lots of different enrichment activities from play tunnels to puppy puzzles to keep them active.

How do you socialise your animals? We run a strict socialisation program we follow for each pup and receive a lot of visitors of family and friends (with and without children of different ages) to ensure that the pups are well socialised. We also run a water training / introduction to early on to help remove any fear your puppy may have of water.

What health checks have you undertaken on your breeding animals and your litters? We have complete DNA screened all of our breeding animals through Orivet and have regular vet check ups. We also complete a coat analysis of each pup which we provide the owners with a copy of upon collecting the pup.

What comes with your take home packs for your litters? We love gifting! So when purchasing a puppy from us, you will receive a decent puppy pack which may include (changes slightly every litter): personalised bowls, lots of toys, toy basket, heaps of discounts to big retailers, microfibre personalised towel, blanket with mum and litters scent, some of the wet and dry food to help you started, tote bags etc etc - it’s a long list!

Tell us about why you breed and what your breeding goals are I’ve always wanted to be a breeder but with work requirements, I’ve never had the opportunity. I have life threatening injury a few years ago which left me unable to work and instead of doing nothing, I started studying to become a vet assistant and commenced my breeding program - Kalli’s Cavoodles. This is a long time plan for me and one day, when I’ve gained enough experience, I would love to write a breeding program to assist others when starting.

What sort of enrichment activities do your animals and litters have? We follow the RPBA (Responsible Pet Breeders Assoc) guide for socialisation. Exposing young puppies to age appropriate stimulating and challenging activities is of the utmost importance in ensuring your puppy is not anxious and well developed socially and emotionally. We set up daily play outside with water obstacles, smells and textures and provide physical climbing challenges being mindful that puppies should not jump excessively or be exposed to heights.

How do you socialise your animals? Our puppies are socialised safely with other dogs, previous dogs from our litters, other animals from our rural property. We also ensure they meet a variety of huuumans(those with beanies, hats, beards, umbrellas, motorbikes etc. Once vaccinated we take puppies out with us to different environments (ensuring they are not placed onto the ground before vaccinations take effect)

Arriving in Australia 6 years ago, we started housesitting with a dog breeder, and I fell in love with the breed. The dog breeder wanted to take a step back after 40+ years of breeding, and after two years of housesitting and learning from that breeder, we are now working closely together. I love breeding, because as a therapist for my regular work, I see how valuable this breed is as a companion.
