Hi 👋🏼
I desperately need to re-home my German Shepard X Husky, Georgie.
I purchased Georgie on the 20th January 2021. She was advertised on Gumtree for $250. Her owner was an 18 yro lad in Dandenong who didn’t have time for her, and kept her in a bird aviary 24/7.
They had adopted Georgie from The Lost Dog’s Home, she was found at 2 years old wandering the streets of Richmond by herself. Georgie was desexed by Dr. Ton Tancharoen on 26th of March 2019. Full veterinary treatment history included from The Lost Dogs Home.
Georgie is now 5 years old, Georgie has been known to show aggression towards smaller dogs than herself and female dogs in particular.
I want to give Georgie the best chance at a new life, I just don’t have the time she requires.
Georgie is very loving, loyal and protective over her family. Over the past year Georgie has shown a huge improvement in her behaviour as we introduced a Saint Bernard puppy into the family. Georgie took on the ‘mother role’ and has continued to provide guidance and affection towards the puppy. Saint Bernard puppy is now 1 and weighs 65 kg, she’s beginning to take on Georgie’s traits, ie. attacking birds
I do honestly believe Georgie could be a great dog for someone that has more time to spend with her than I do.
Georgie must go to a home without birds or cats.
I'm moving back in with my Dad and there isn't enough room for her there.
Please consider Georgie to be a part of your family.
