Before you decide to bring home your own bundle of joy, be sure that you have done your research on the breed and that you are able to commit to the time and care needed. Maltese dogs usually live for 12 to 14 years and will need a home that is able to keep up with regular grooming and exercise. Fully grown maltese are usually around the 3 to 4 kg mark. They are great family dogs, however, please make sure they also have their own space to be able to relax away from the noise. Other than that, they are lovely companions and will thrive in good loving homes.
