This young man is full of beans, would suit farm living as I believe his got a lot of kelpie genes working in his favour but also not necessary. He could also suit an urban life but still needs a bit of patience as he likes to chase, lunge and bark at everything that moves I.e cars, cats, bikes. He loves most dogs but sometimes gets into trouble as he is still learning the social cues and doesn’t know when to call it quits. If you have another dog in the house they would have to match his over-enthusiasm for playtime with dogs. Loves a cuddle once all the energy is out. Because he is young he’s still learning all his potty training and he was in the pound for over three months. He would suit someone who is willing to put in the hours of training and who is patient with him. He is fearful reactive towards people as he has a bark and lunge but can easily be won over in a matter of a minutes with treats and calmness. He is very eager to please and easy to train. This boy is an absolute doofus and will make you laugh often!

This girl is an absolute sweetheart. She has a very calm soothing temperament and could easily be a service dog. She loves a good cuddle and is more of a “human-dog” than a “dogs dog”. She’s also independent and not needy if you don’t want to give cuddles, she will happily just like to be in your company. She will let you know if she wants pats by lifting up her paw. In a dog park, she often plays the mediator and doesn’t like it if other dogs play fight and likes to bark and cut in. She is also a resource guarder and doesn’t like it if another dog grabs her toy, approaches her human that’s giving her affection and can sometimes just be a bit ticked off at other dogs. Nothing serious as it’s all bark and no bite. She absolutely loves Jedai and feels protective of him at times and can’t really live without him (despite him being okay without her!). This girl will melt your heart, she will give you eye gazes and will try and nuzzle as close as possible.
