“Leopard Mastiff Cross Ridgeback" is a mixed-breed dog combining features from the Catahoula Leopard Dog, the Mastiff (often a Bullmastiff), and the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Catahoulas contribute their signature spotted "leopard" coat and working-dog versatility, while Mastiffs provide size and a protective nature, and Ridgebacks add the iconic back ridge, along with their own working heritage and protective instincts. This mix results in a large, energetic, and intelligent dog that requires experienced handling, early socialization, and substantial space and exercise to manage their high drive.
Breed Characteristics & Temperament:
* Size: Expect a large, powerful dog inherited from the Mastiff and Ridgeback.
* Appearance: They will have a unique coat pattern, potentially with the Catahoula's "leopard" spotting and the Ridgeback's distinctive dorsal ridge.
* Energy & Drive: This is a high-energy, versatile working-dog mix. They need significant daily exercise and mental stimulation to prevent destructive behaviors.

* These puppies have been raised by my 2 year old little girl with love during feeding and playtime. With supervision from parents.

* Father is a 2yr old Leopard Cross gentle with kids and great with rounding up animals on the farm. Mother is a 1.5yr old ridgeback gentle with kids, protective and energetic.
