Mini Dachshunds are miniature versions of Dachshunds and can weigh less than 5 kilos. They are intelligent, curious, and affectionate. They don't require that much exercise but will need to be walked daily and given mental enrichment to prevent boredom and to keep them happy. Mini Dachshunds have delicate backs so some care should be given to prevent them from jumping down from high surfaces. It is also wise to support their backs if you carry them and not to let them gain too much weight.
