Both Parents are pure breed papered south african mastiffs ( BOERBOELS)
These dogs are not for everyone but after owing one you will find it hard to go back to any other breed. They are excellent with children and other animals if brought up correctly. They are a very loving and affection breed and would quite happily spend most of the day by your side on the couch or your bed. Our Gilbert is a very large boy who thinks he is still a puppy and can sit on your knee it just shows the love they have for there family.
Gilbert is 4 and Frankie is 2 years old
They are a large agile breed which were breed to guard and protect homesteads in south africa from lions, hyenas and other intruders.
