Leo is 8 years old, he is a very friendly dog, and very beloved to us. We have had him his entire life and we are so sad we will have to rehome him. The reason is, I am a new mum and I’m also a carer to my elderly mum so I’m having a really hard time finding enough time and energy to properly look after Leo and all his needs. I have tried my best to keep on top of things and put off rehoming him as long as i can, but I realised it’s just not enough and I can tell he isn't as happy as he used to be and its breaking my heart, he deserves a better home who can give him more attention with all his needs. Leo absolutely loves going for walks, he gets so excited, he’s great around everyone, very friendly. He usually sleeps in our bed so he’s used to that but he has slept in a doggy bed before no problems. He loves chew toys, throw/fetch and tug of war.
The reason he will be $500 (negotiable) is because we want a very serious owner who will take him seriously as he is just like a family member to us.
Leo has no medical problems, he gets a little itchy sometimes after play in the grass, we have a doggy cream we put on his paws sometimes however its not needed. We can provide the cream free of charge, if wanted.
Important note: Leo did have a small non-surgery procedure (backside drain) when he was backed up too much as a puppy. So after that, he’s been traumatised with anyone touching or petting his backside area so please be careful of touching/petting that area, as its the only thing where he will get aggressive and possibly bite !!
Leo is wormed up to date but is not vaccinated up to date.
