These dogs have a soft, loving nature with their family, but can quickly switch on to protect their home and people. It’s impressive how alert and aware they are of their surroundings.
Away from their property and when out in public parks, the parents are friendly with other dogs and people. If you stop to talk with a stranger, they will calmly observe and assess the situation.
