With a very heavy heart, I am looking for a loving new home for my beautiful Cocker Spaniel, Hudson.
Hudson is an 11-month-old Cocker Spaniel with the sweetest, most affectionate nature. He loves being around people, enjoys cuddles on the couch, and is happiest when he’s included in day-to-day family life. He’s a playful, loving boy who has so much love to give.
Hudson has been taught basic commands, is crate trained, and sees his crate as his safe space where he happily sleeps and relaxes (often accompanied by some very cute snoring!). He is very much an indoor dog and thrives on companionship.
He is vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, regularly groomed, and fed a high-quality diet. He is fantastic with children and other dogs and has been a regular at doggy daycare, where he has always enjoyed socialising and interacting with others.
Like many sensitive dogs, Hudson experiences separation anxiety and is currently on medication, which has helped him become much calmer and more settled. Because of this, he would be best suited to a home where someone is around more often, works from home, has a flexible schedule, or simply has the time and commitment to continue supporting his needs.
This decision has been incredibly difficult. Due to an upcoming move into an apartment and the start of a new job, I won’t be able to provide Hudson with the time, attention, and lifestyle he deserves. Rather than compromise his quality of life, I want to find him a home where he can continue to thrive.
Hudson is a truly special dog, and finding the right home is far more important to me than finding a quick one. I am looking for someone who will welcome him as part of the family and give him the love, stability, and companionship he deserves.
