They understand basic human communication (emotions and language), hold excellent temperament, and are healthy.
➡️Lineage
Mother is a 4 year old half short-haired German Shepherd, half Belgian Shepherd (Groenendael coat). Her father was from a security/guard line.
Father is a 2 year old pure Maremma. His father was a show dog.
Both are well loved, healthy, active and working as security on the property.
➡️Environment
They are our second litter of the first generation working dog for the mountanious North West Tasmanian region. The future of this grassroots permaculture farm requires a more trainable/adaptable dog for guarding chickens and other livestock across multiple hectares, as well as a family dog.
➡️Lifestyle
The puppies are fed home cooked meals with a varied diet that include rice with minced chicken, beef, kangaroo and wallaby, chicken breast, bacon, mackerel, tuna, kippers, eggs, offal and bone marrow, and kefir. They are also fed supplementary Black Hawk dry food.
Caretakers are available to them round the clock. They free-feed, -roam and -socialise across a fenced area of a few acres. Across the day, they interact with babies, cats, lambs and other dogs.

These puppies are raise for work/active families, or on a large property. Due to hybrid vigour and the reversal of inbreeding depression, these puppies will be larger than each purebred’s average sizing. We can answer any questions you have on this.
Weights were measured by the vet at 6 weeks. We can provide a current weight upon request
