We believe socialisation plays a huge role in the development of our babies so we ensure this is done appropriately which requires taking into consideration where each pup is milestone wise and of course their age.
All introductions are done slowly and are closely supervised. When we refer to socialisation and behaviour this not only refers to introducing the puppies to our other four-legged family members, but also everyday household appliances and children of various ages.
From a young age we handle the puppies, which we use to further assist in regular hygiene practices such as nail clipping, ear cleaning and baths.
Our whelping box is also set up in a way that we feel best supports toilet training, exposes the puppies to various textures and materials as well as sounds and scents. As the puppies grow, we ensure the whelping box is set up in a suitable way to accommodate their needs.
Our babies are our pride and joy, so our puppy packs contain quite a lot of information, documentation and a variety of supplies to assist in the transition including a blanket with mum's scent on it as well as six weeks pet insurance.
Before going to their new homes all of the puppies receive a health check from our vet, first vaccinations and microchipping.
